Art under the Elms is coming!
What’s happening April 26-28th?
Of course, it’s Art Under The Elms. It is a craft show and much more. In addition to booths of artisan items, there are two stages where local performance artists and musicians will appear. Add to that a super food court, and interactive activities for the kids, and it is the total package for entertainment over the weekend.
Also, the admission while modest, is good for all three days. Come and enjoy all that the event has to offer and only pay once!
What will we see?
There is a huge diversity of products available at Art under the Elms. You can find handmade pottery, soaps, candles, knit goods such as hats and scarves, and signage. Also, there will be jewelry, essential oils, and other cloth goods such as bags and purses. If that’s not enough for you, the kids are invited to enjoy the interactive art tent, or attend a woodland fairy tea party.
Volunteers and LCSC staff man this event. And, many community non-profit groups have tables with information available about their group’s activities.
Art Under the Elms attracts over 13,000 visitors each year. All proceeds from this event go to benefit Continuing Education personal enrichment programming at Lewis Clark State College.
Typically the weather is beautiful, the dogwoods are in bloom, and everything else is beginning to bloom. Even if the weather isn’t perfect, this is a really good way to kick off Spring for you and your family, do some early Christmas shopping, and generally enjoy quality time with your friends and family.
We hope to see you there!
