Art under the Elms
“Art under the Elms” is one of our favorite events of the Dogwood Festival. It was created in 1984. It is one of the largest outdoors shows in Idaho. It brings over one hundred artisans from all over the country to participate . These artisans host booths, give live performances, and of course offer great food choices. Visitors can stroll under the beautiful elm trees that dot the venue and examine various artistic items such as shawls, hats, and wall hangings.
Add to that all sorts of essential oils and scented candles, handmade pottery, paintings, and jewelry, and you have all the makings of a lovely way to spend a Spring day. Don’t forget to bring your appetite, as there are ample opportunities to sample exotic and delicious foods from a host of food venders.
What else can we do during the Dogwood Festival?
There are lots of things to do and see during the month-long celebration! We have linked to their page above, and you can see everything that’s happening and when.
